Job Description:

1.Mechanical Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform regular maintenance and repair work on mechanical systems, including molding machines and ancillary equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure minimal disruption to production processes.

2. Molding & Medical Plastics Expertise:

• Apply your knowledge of molding processes to maintain and optimize equipment used in the production of medical-grade plastic products.
• Ensure that all mechanical systems are calibrated and maintained to meet the rigorous standards required for medical plastics manufacturing.

3. Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all critical mechanical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts replacement and system modifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Work closely with the engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.

5. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure that all mechanical maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Follow industry standards and best practices, particularly in the maintenance of equipment used in medical plastics production.

6. Spare Parts & Tools Management:

• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools required for mechanical maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of high-quality parts and components.

7. Technical Support & Training:

• Provide technical support and guidance to production operators on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanic Technician, with a strong background in molding within the plastic manufacturing industry.
  
• Expertise in medical plastics is a significant advantage.
  
• Proficient in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, particularly those used in molding processes.
  
• Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.
