Job Description
- Lead and develop a team within the materials planning function, production planning and purchasing to fostering growth and readiness for future leadership roles.
- Develop and execute production schedules that align with site inventory goals and customer service targets.
- Continuously improve material control processes to enhance productivity and reduce overhead costs.
- Identify capacity constraints and implement strategies to maintain service levels.
- Create and manage planning documents, work schedules, and instructions to support operational goals.
Qualifications
- Diploma or local equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in inventory systems, MRP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, ISO standards, and statistical control techniques.
- Effective communicator with the ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
- Proficiency in the local language and intermediate English skills (for international locations)
