Job summary

Jabil Malaysia seeks a lead to manage the Purchasing Staff within the Workcell and to support development and implementation of Supply Chain strategies. This role ensures materials supply aligns with demand and drives overall cost optimization across materials.

The position requires leadership, the ability to manage large teams, and a focus on maintaining supplier performance and process improvements. Compliance with safety and policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administrate the Purchasing Staff within the Workcell.
• Support the development and implementation of Supply Chain strategies and systems.
• Ensure materials supply meets MRP requirements to support production.
• Identify ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems.
• Coordinate activities of large teams and provide coaching and mentoring to staff.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management or related field
