Responsible for global procurement and inventory management of high technology or life sciences production, new product introduction (NPI) materials, life-time supply of obsolete parts and/or non-production materials and/or services. Oversees activities related to supplier evaluation, selection and supplier management. Collaborates with management in R&D, Marketing and Manufacturing to contribute to new product/technology plans, implementation and strategies to ensure the supply base supports requirements. Develops plans/strategies, third-party relationships and specific programs in order to achieve business objectives. May lead supply chain strategy development and implementation to assure best cost, optimal inventory, assurance of supply, and materials product generation support for a business.

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented analyst to lead the end-to-end management of Component Life Time Buy (LTB) processes. This role ensures continuity of supply for end-of-life (EOL) components, mitigates risks associated with obsolescence, and supports long-term product sustainability through proactive planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement LTB strategies in alignment with product lifecycle and business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and product teams to identify components at risk of obsolescence.
  • Forecast long-term component demand and determine optimal buy quantities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to execute LTB plans.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to secure and manage LTB inventory.
  • Drive procurement efforts and initiatives program to support organization’s Key Deliverable Metrics (KPI)
  • Strong data analytical skills to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements and solution
  • Ability to lead, drive & resolve problem, to support organization & to achieve supply chain operation excellence
  • Manage supplier collaboration negotiation including contract and agreement review when need arises
  • Able to keep up to pace with business transformation and leverage technology to help in procurement functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics /Programming or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, engineering or product lifecycle management.
  • Familiar and possess strong business sense on supply chain, planning fundamentals and inventory management systems
  • Solid judgement with decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to lead small team players
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment, internally & cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and data analysis tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint and Macro. Other Reporting and data analysis tool/ app such as Power BI, Power Apps, Python, R , SQL Language, Programming , C+ will be added advantage
