Description

• Plan and schedule materials to meet production demands while minimizing inventory costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Monitor inventory levels and address supply chain discrepancies effectively.
• Coordinate with internal departments to align material planning with production schedules.
• Prepare and present reports on inventory, material forecasts, and supply chain performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in material planning.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
• Support the Procurement & Supply Chain department with strategic planning initiatives.

Profile

A successful Materials Planner should have:

• Educational background in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in material planning or procurement within the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage supply chain challenges.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate planning and forecasting.
