Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Material Planning, Buying, and Production Scheduling teams.
• Ensure effective execution of material planning, procurement, and production scheduling functions.
• Assign and manage daily tasks for schedulers, buyers, and planners to meet operational targets.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance to ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities.
• Collaborate with other departments to align material availability with production and delivery schedules.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Maintain clear communication within the team and across departments to support supply chain goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Materials Supervisor should have:

• SPM or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials and production planning.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, production planning, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
