Job summary

Kerry Group is seeking a Material Planner in Malaysia to ensure the right materials are available when needed, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. The role emphasizes SAP-based processes, PO management, and monitoring delivery performance in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

The position offers hybrid work arrangements at the Bandar Utama site, with responsibilities spanning purchase orders, supplier coordination, and data maintenance within SAP.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Material Planning, Procurement, or related role.
• Experience within food ingredients, flavours, food manufacturing, or beverage industries is preferred but not essential.
• Experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with Power BI or other data/reporting tools would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day material call-off process to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Monitor and resolve planning alerts, including rescheduling, overcoverage, undercoverage and shortages.
• Proactively identify material supply risks and escalate issues to stakeholders.
• Coordinate tolling and subcontracting activities where applicable.
• Maintain master data and SKU planning data; support NPI data requirements.
