Job summary

A leading company in paints and coatings is seeking a Material Planner to join their team in Petaling Jaya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply planning, particularly within FMCG, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Planning in FMCG or related fields.

• Identify and structure supply planning issues, run analyses, and synthesize recommendations.
• Coordinate teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Challenge and improve existing supply planning processes.

Job Requirement

• University Education (e.g. Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other relevant discipline) with Degree or equivalent qualification
• Focused on results
• Good problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendations
• Strong desire to challenge and improve status-quo
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and able to work under-pressure
• Fluent and able to work in English. Understanding and sensitivity to different cultural behaviours.
• At least 3-year experience in Supply Planning in FMCG, Paint/Coating or Retail
• Expert on Supply Planning in SAP and BI
• Experience on IBP processes, Advanced Supply Planning tools
• Project and Change Management skills
• Experience on coordinating teams and managing stakeholders
