About the role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Material Planner to join our team at EOLANE MALAYSIA SDN BHD. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of materials and components to support the manufacturing operations at our Kulim Kedah facility. As a key member of our Production, Planning & Scheduling team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communicate the status of materials in a timely manner and summarize the material readiness dates.
2. Manage inventory and boost the inventory turnover rate.
3. Compile the E&O (Excess and Obsolete) report and assist the Project Manager with the claim process.
4. Oversee the management of expired materials.
5. Optimize the functions of material plan control in the ERP and related systems, thereby enhancing the work efficiency of this department and other relevant departments.

Position Requirements

1. Possess over 5 years of experience in material planning management within the EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) industry.
2. Demonstrate good proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
3. Skilled in using Excel and have a good understanding of the production and material operation models under the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) systems.
4. Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills. Have a strong awareness of risks. Be capable of defining, analyzing, and resolving problems.
5. Display a high level of teamwork, communication, and coordination abilities. Be sensitive to numbers and have strong numerical analysis skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
