Overview

Manage Master Data for all materials in the Region (9 countries) with the aim of maintaining timely, accurate Master Data. In order to facilitate the Demand, Supply and Sales processes in the region ensuring there is an optimisation of inventory and service levels at all locations in line with the following company objectives:

  • Planning and purchasing for business unit / trade basket portfolio(s)
  • Manage product availability to achieve corporate service levels
  • Manage inventory levels to achieve working capital targets
  • Support sales channels in providing world class customer service
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage master data in SAP related to materials, vendors, customers, and planning parameters to support regional demand and supply planning activities.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all relevant SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, APO).
  • Collaborate closely with market organizations in SEA and ANZ to gather, validate, and update master data requirements.
  • Monitor and resolve data-related issues, ensuring timely updates to support planning cycles and business operations.
  • Support new product introductions, discontinuations, and changes in planning parameters by coordinating master data setup and maintenance.
  • Perform regular audits and data cleansing activities to uphold data integrity and compliance with global and regional standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Sales, and IT to align on data governance and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for master data processes, workflows, and controls.
  • Provide training and support to market teams on SAP master data processes and tools.
  • Participate in regional and global data governance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Others
  • On-time / accurate support of new product introductions and distribution across the Hilti Network
  • Monitoring and contribution of KPI, system alerts and reporting to senior management
  • Support definition and execution of continuous improvement projects
  • Support team members with other duties from time to time as may be required (projects, testing, internal controls, Hub / Global initiatives)
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years Demand/Supply Planning experience required
  • University Bachelor degree (planning, operations, logistics, or supply chain related field)
  • Proficient user of SAP – DRP, Inventory Modules & Data Management
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel with experience in building advanced reports
  • Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and can do attitude
  • Demonstrated assertive execution and follow-up skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship, influencing & negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of PC & software applications including MS Office
  • Ability to prioritize & execute multiple tasks to achieve daily operational deadlines
  • Ability to work with others, cross-functionally and cross-culturally, with a customer mindset
Preferred
  • Experience using SAP APO/JDA – forecasting & purchasing modules
  • APICS Certification (CPIM module)
  • Experience using SAP BI reporting tools, specifically the use of BW Analyser and BW workbooks
  • LEAN Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, or higher
