Job summary

Shas Event Creations is seeking a dedicated tailor to create and alter garments for customers in Malaysia. You will take measurements, cut fabric, and sew items such as blouses, dresses, and traditional outfits using industrial and domestic sewing machines.

The role focuses on precise cutting, accurate fittings, and delivering high-quality finishes. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to complete tasks on time, maintaining a clean and organized tailoring area.

Qualifications

• Experience in tailoring/sewing preferred.
• Able to use industrial/domestic sewing machines.
• Good knowledge of cutting, measurement and garment fitting.
• Neat stitching and attention to detail.
• Responsible and able to complete work on time.

Responsibilities

• Take customer measurements accurately.
• Cut fabric according to measurements and designs.
• Stitch and sew garments using sewing machines.
• Sew blouses, Punjabi suits, dresses and other ladies' wear.
• Perform clothing alterations and adjustments.
• Repair garments, including zippers, buttons and damaged stitching.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary size adjustments.
• Ensure good finishing and quality of completed garments.
• Handle customer tailoring requirements and special requests.
• Keep the tailoring area and sewing equipment clean and organized.
