Job summary

Exentec is seeking a Production Planner in Penang to manage daily output, issue work orders and travelers, and monitor floor status to hit targets. The role collaborates with engineering, quality, and packing to ensure on-time delivery and optimal use of resources.

The candidate should have 2–4 years in manufacturing planning, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, and strong Excel skills, with a focus on DFM feedback and bottleneck mitigation.

Qualifications

• Education as listed: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Admin or related field.
• 2–4 years in a manufacturing environment; production planning or scheduling preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP software (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills for data modeling and forecasting.
• Familiarity with manufacturing docs such as Work Instructions, Travelers, NCRs; strong communication & urgency under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operational Execution & Timeline Management: ensure all stations meet milestones and follow up with Production Operation Team.
• Cross-Functional Synchronization: liaise between Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Packing to align with shipment schedules.
• Strategic Reporting & Constraint Management: highlight bottlenecks early, balance resources, and plan catch-up measures to maintain OTD.
