Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Planning and Material Control professional to master and execute Master Production Schedules and daily/weekly capacity plans based on sales forecasts and firm customer orders. You will monitor shop floor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and adjust schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

You will also perform MRP analysis, control inventory levels, and act as a bridge across Sales, Engineering, Warehouse, and Production.

Qualifications

2–3+ years of PMC, production planning or material control experience.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and capacity calculation.

Responsibilities

Master and execute MPS and daily/weekly capacity plans based on forecasts and orders.
Monitor shop floor progress and resolve bottlenecks with section heads.
Dynamically adjust schedules to ensure on-time delivery (OTD ≥ 96%).
Perform MRP analysis and calculate raw material and packaging needs.
Collaborate with Procurement on material arrival schedules.
Control inventory levels and set safety stock targets.
Analyze slow-moving/obsolete stock and reduce material holding costs.
Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Warehouse and Production for revisions/urgent orders.
Monitor production lead times and track material shortage risks.
Issue PMC KPI reporting periodically.
