Master Data Management Specialist

Job Description

The Master Data Management Specialist is responsible for performing administrative and analytical tasks involved in managing Procurement & Sourcing (P&S) data and master data. The specialist enriches and promotes alignment of data across all business systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for inputting and recording master data, interacting with functions such as GeoUnit Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management, Category Management, Distribution, Trade Control Compliance, and IT Business Systems support.
2. Verify data for completeness and functionality.
3. Communicate potential data quality issues or missing data.
4. Process master data across enterprise resource planning, procurement, or logistics systems, including third-party suppliers, agents, and catalogs.
5. Screen and validate data to ensure compliance with regulations.
6. Provide guidelines on master data requirements and processes.
7. Maintain data quality and accuracy to facilitate automatic procure-to-pay transactions.
8. Identify records needing updates based on three-way match issues during invoice review.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
• Effective in cross-functional and cross-cultural teamwork.
• Capable of managing internal customer interactions effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously and prioritize efficiently.
• Responsive to field needs and urgency.
