This role involves:

• Performing regular data analytics to identify key trends, hotspots or potential areas of concern to facilitate targeted and effective audits;
• Participating in the planning and conduct of audit engagements and providing opinions to improve process controls;
• Communicating audit opinions and recommendations effectively to clients;
• Exploring and implementing improvements to enhance audit quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications include:

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in treasury, risk management, product control, or regulatory compliance;
• Knowledge of financial instruments, derivatives, and regulations;
• Risk management and control expertise;
• Strong report writing and presentation skills;
• Willingness to travel;
• Adaptability and commitment to continuous learning;
• Team player mentality;
• Proficiency in financial models, data analytics, and basic programming;
• Understanding of risk and control practices, especially in Global Markets and Finance;
• Knowledge of the Basel Framework;
• Degree and professional certifications such as CIA, CMA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, FRM, CFA are a plus;
• Prior audit experience is not mandatory.
