Job description

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist to strengthen UST’s brand presence in Malaysia through digital marketing, social media engagement, and strategic partnerships. This role will focus on hyperlocal campaigns, event marketing, and LinkedIn-led growth, with potential expansion to Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content Strategy

  • Lead LinkedIn marketing efforts, including content creation, engagement campaigns, and community building.
  • Develop localized content (whitepapers, articles, podcasts) to showcase UST’s expertise in AI, cloud, and digital transformation.

Event & Partner Marketing

  • Organize and promote industry events, webinars, and networking sessions to enhance brand visibility.
  • Build relationships with government bodies, universities, and tech partners to drive collaborative opportunities.

Brand Awareness & Lead Generation

  • Execute targeted LinkedIn campaigns to generate high-quality leads and nurture prospects.
  • Represent UST at key industry events to expand professional networks and identify business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years in digital/social media marketing, preferably in B2B tech or IT services.
  • Holds at least a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any related field.
  • Proven experience managing LinkedIn campaigns (content, ads, engagement strategies).
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills for professional audiences.
  • Must know how to use various Gen AI platforms for content development (text & media, PPT’s)
  • Familiarity with Malaysia’s tech ecosystem (government initiatives, universities, enterprise clients).
  • Self-motivated, data-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Local Malaysian
