Job summary

A leading e-commerce platform in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Marketing Operations (MKT Ops) team member. The role involves managing marketing efforts, ensuring backend quality, and collaborating with various teams for campaign support. Ideal candidates should possess at least a Diploma, have good English skills, and be proactive problem solvers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • At least a Diploma in any field is required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent command of English (mandatory).
  • Experience in eCommerce marketing and/or campaign management would be a plus.
  • Able to multitask and prioritise under pressure.

Job description
Responsibilities


  • MKT Ops (Promotion Team) Job scopes: Responsible for the operational aspects of marketing efforts, covering vouchers, coins, virtual goods, promotion deals, standalone features and shipping promo rules.

  • Manage creation and quality control for the backend portals to ensure accurate and timely execution.

  • Collaborate with Product Team and Regional counterparts, actively participating in UAT & live testing for new feature updates and addressing live errors and bugs.

  • Coordinate with multiple departments for marketing campaign support and seamless coordination.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in Backend and Frontend user experiences. Advocate for feature enhancements to enhance overall work efficiency.

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to raise suggestions and implement improvements. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform recommendations for feature upgrades.

  • Handle customer service inquiries related to vouchers, coins & shipping promo rules, conducting investigations and providing final findings for issue resolution.

  • Manage management directives for user segmentation targeting in promotions, microsite setup, and live testing to align with frontend expectations.

  • Work closely with the BizFin team to plan and execute monthly vouchers, ensuring requirements are met.

  • Collaborate with the Fraud and Risk Management team to address fraud cases and internal voucher incidents, ensuring a secure operational framework.

  • Proactively contribute to closing the gap between backend setup and frontend UI/UX for a streamlined operational process.


Requirements


  • At least a Diploma in any field is required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Excellent command of English (mandatory).

  • Ability to adapt to shift hours, both long-term night shifts and work schedules in which employees change or rotate shifts.

  • Experience in eCommerce marketing and/or campaign management would be a plus.

  • Willing to be hands-on with strong executional abilities.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive with a knack for getting things done.

  • Practical judgment concerning everyday matters is highly essential coupled with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Independent and self-motivated, with good end-to-end ownership of projects. Open to taking on new and ambiguous project.
