Marketing Officer, Vehicle Financing Sales Hub (Butterworth)

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To drive the achievement of key business objectives for Vehicle Financing, including the successful submission and approval of financing applications, ensuring optimal total financing approval and disbursement volumes, and strategically increasing penetration within the non-national customer segment, while maintaining a balanced distribution between national and non-national portfolios.
  • To ensure the financing process adheres to PDPA regulations and the Bank’s confidentiality standards.
  • Conduct dealer visits to strengthen business relationships, with a target of a minimum of 4 dealers per day, or any threshold as directed.
  • Submit applications received from dealers for approval within one business day (T+1) once all required documents are fully completed.
  • Complete site visitations within one business day (T+1) for locations within the assigned territory, or within three business days (T+3) for locations outside the territory, or as otherwise directed.
  • Follow up on the status of pending cases with dealers and customers within two business days (T+2).
  • Ensure timely follow-up and renewal of Letters of Undertaking (LoU) as required.
  • Conduct at least one product briefing per month with car dealers, or as otherwise directed.
  • Respond to inquiries, requests, or complaints from car dealers and customers within three business days (T+3), or within any threshold as directed.
  • Recommend car dealers for panel appointments (if applicable) and for Dealer Business Relationship (DBR-I) arrangements.
  • Submit daily visitation planner reports (if applicable), along with weekly reports and marketing activity updates, in a timely manner.
  • Review DBR-I arrangements for dealers at least one month prior to the expiry of the arrangement.
  • Ensure accuracy in data entry into relevant systems during the application creation process.
  • Maintain and update reports/data related to submissions, pending approvals, pipeline status, and any other required reports on a timely basis.
  • Any other duties/assignment as and when directed/assigned by the superior as per business requirement from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degreein Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales, marketing, or relationship management role within the financial services or vehicle financing industry.
  • Experience in dealer relationship management and business development.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, particularly in vehicle financing or related financial products.
  • Strong familiarity with Dealer Business Relationship (DBR-I) arrangements and vehicle financingprocesses.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with car dealers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong, long-term relationships with dealers and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in processing applications, entering data, and maintaining reports.
  • Problem-solving abilities to handle inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently.
  • Analytical skills to review reports, data, and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in business goals and requirements and implement new strategies accordingly.
