Job description

Setia City Mall is recognized as the largest mall in Shah Alam. Over 300 retailers are spread across 4 levels creating the ultimate destination of choice for shopping, dining, entertainment, and park life in the area.

We are looking for an aspiring Marketing Manager to join our team. Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the marketing team.
  • Conceptualise and implement integrated marketing campaigns for the shopping mall to drive traffic and revenue.
  • Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Responsible for budgetary control, events, promotions, loyalty programmes, public relations, engaging and onboarding stakeholders, and direct marketing in order to create a strong and unified shopping mall brand that stands out from the competition.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis, budget tracking, monthly reports for internal analysis, and day-to-day campaign monitoring.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure project success and create awareness for the mall's activities.
  • Form strategic alliances to source sponsorships, unique event opportunities, and public relations opportunities for the mall.
  • Proactively plan and initiate joint collaborations with tenants, as well as garner participation for mall programmes and various Lendlease initiatives to drive sales.
  • Plan the department's budget to keep expenses within the approved budget.
  • Conduct post-promotional campaign or event reviews to determine the effectiveness of promotions/events in terms of shopper traffic and tenant GTO, and prepare monthly reports for internal analysis.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role and work environment, preferably in a shopping mall environment.
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
