We are looking for Marketing Manager to join our team!

  • This is a Clustered postion for Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang & Shangri-La Golden Sands, Penang.

Core Responsibilities

As our Marketing Manager, we rely on you to:

  • Create marketing assets, including photography, videography, digital and print collaterals, guest communication materials and respond to public reviews and comments on key platforms
  • Develop and manage advertising plans, creative development across digital platforms, anticipate market trends, and boost business performance.
  • Elevate the performance of digital campaigns, drive conversion, and achieve resort business goals by providing valuable contributions to owned/earned, organic/paid targeted efforts.
  • Uphold brand consistency, ensuring alignment across all marketing assets, channels and customer touchpoints. Maintain information on owned and external channels, ensuring up-to-date content, and deploy website enhancements as needed.
  • Management and production of shoots for successful campaigns, from photography and videography, encompassing professional and in-house content.
  • Responsible for the creation of compelling and meaningful messaging and copy across marketing channels to contribute to a strong overall performance.
  • Idea generation and identify partnerships to drive results and boost brand awareness for the resort.
  • Support resort-wide business priorities and HQ/regional-led projects

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or equivalent with a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar marketing role with strong digital marketing knowledge and expertise, preferably in hospitality or travel industries
  • Strong communications skills – verbal, written, analytical skills, content creation, and public relations skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Creative, proactive, and results-driven with strong analytical capabilities
  • Good understanding of digital marketing, particularly social media strategies and channels
  • Experience with design and editing platforms
  • A genuine passion for marketing, social media, and PR. Eager to explore and embrace new digital trends to ensure the hotel stays ahead in adopting the latest technological advancements.
  • Excellent project and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Keen interest in emerging marketing trends, consumer insights and industry developments
  • Has strong interpersonal & communication skill.
  • Continuously looks for ways to develop themselves as well as others
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high quality deliverables with high attention to detail
