A global leader in early childhood education is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead brand strategies and execution within their diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess extensive integrated marketing experience, particularly in a fast-paced MNC environment, and demonstrate strong digital marketing skills. This role requires creativity, effective communication, and robust analytical abilities to optimize brand performance and drive successful marketing initiatives.
The Marketing and Communications department is a critical unit in Busy Bees Asia, a global leading early childhood education provider with more than 900 centres worldwide. As part of the brand team, the Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for formulating the long-term marketing strategy and developing and executing marketing plans for the brands under Busy Bees’ portfolio. The successful candidatewill be assigned multiple brands under Busy Bees and will be responsible for managing the brand performance, brand activity planning and implementation, and will also help the Marketing Director to lead a specialised marketing team to fulfil business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
1. Responsible for brand activity planning and execution, liaising with internal marketing team, business stakeholders, and external ad/design/web agencies
2. Shared accountability for brands’ performance with the marketing team
3. Conduct market research, to understand the industry and the key target market segments
4. Preparation of the brands’ marketing plan, the quarterly promotional strategy and implementation plan, in accordance to agreed business objectives
5. Managing an effective and close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
6. Compile, monitor and analyse leads management and market/sales for all brands and provide timely business analyst reports
7. Accountability for brands’ performance
8. Develop and manage the agreed marketing budget for the brands, to deliver KPIs
9. Providing relevant market and brand analyses
10. Work closely with creative, operations and sales teams to ensure consistent execution to meet KPIs
13. Keep abreast of technological developments in the market and monitor the competitive landscape to position favorably
Educational and Work Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing or Business or any relevant studies
Minimum of 5-7 years’ relevant 360 integrated marketing experience (account management in an advertising agency/brand or marketing position in an MNC preferred) with multi-brand management experience preferred.
Experience and good understanding of Digital and Performance Marketing, including SEO, SEM, Lead Gen ads, FB/IG ads, Google Ads etc.
Proactive, and a good team-player
Able to manage timelines well in a fast-paced environment
Experience in Preschool education, or education is a bonus.
