A leading company in Malaysia seeks a knowledgeable marketing professional to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives. Responsibilities will include managing campaigns, overseeing budget and performance analysis, and maintaining brand integrity. This role requires both creativity and leadership skills to drive the marketing team to success.

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives.
Conduct market research, analyze consumer behavior, and identify market trends and opportunities.
Define target audiences and develop strategies to effectively reach and engage them.

Campaign / Event Management & Execution:
Plan, execute, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across suitable channels (e.g., digital, social media, email, content, traditional advertising, events, PR).
Lead the conceptualization, planning, promotion, and execution of various events, including but not limited to: product launches, roadshows, internal company events, etc
Oversee and execute creation of compelling marketing materials and content (website, blog, social media, brochures, event collateral, etc.) that resonate with the local market.
Experiment with various organic and paid acquisition channels to optimize reach and engagement.
Manage and coordinate external agencies, vendors, and partners as needed.
Brand Management:
Ensure consistent brand messaging and identity across all marketing materials and channels.
Maintain a positive company brand image and reputation.
Digital Marketing:
Strategize and execute all suitable digital marketing elements
Monitor and optimize website architecture, content, linking, and user experience for improved conversions.
Stay updated on digital marketing trends and technologies.
Develop content calendars, create engaging posts, manage scheduling, directly engage with followers, and run paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok where relevant) from setup to optimization and reporting.
Write, edit, and proofread high-quality marketing content including blog posts, website copy, social media captions, ad copy, press releases, and marketing collateral
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Measure, test, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns and channels against objectives (KPIs and ROI).
Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports and presentations on marketing performance to management team.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the marketing department's budget, allocating funds wisely and ensuring effective resource utilization.
Track expenses and optimize spending for maximum ROI.
Manage, mentor, and grow team of marketing professionals.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, business development, finance to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Industry Awareness:
Stay informed of marketing strategies, trends, and competitor activities.
Attend roadshows, industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Candidate Requirement: -
Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant course
Proven and extensive hands on experience in marketing role and activities
Proven experience in managing and leading marketing team
Creativity and a passion for innovative marketing strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional project management, organizational, and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail
Ability to create visuals/infographics/videos using suitable tools
Able to travel interstate or work outside of work hours occasionally for business needs when needed
