Job summary

HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad invites applications for a Marketing Graduate Trainee role. You will gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end marketing activities, campaign planning, content coordination, event support and disciplined reporting within a global banking environment.

You will develop practical marketing capabilities while collaborating with internal teams, agencies and stakeholders, strengthening your business communication and data handling skills for a future in banking functions.

Qualifications

• Recently completed or currently completing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear summaries and professional communications.
• Interest in marketing, customer engagement, communications, digital channels or the financial services industry.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with other Microsoft 365 tools is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfortable working with structured data, trackers and reporting templates.
• Creative, curious and willing to develop new ideas while working within established brand and control requirements.
• Team-oriented, adaptable and able to build effective relationships with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across relevant channels.
• Prepare campaign briefs, timelines, presentations and supporting materials.
• Coordinate campaign deliverables with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Track campaign milestones, dependencies and approvals through to completion.
• Identify risks, blockers or delays early and escalation them appropriately.
