Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking a proactive Sourcing & Product Specialist to support supplier and product sourcing, ensuring quality and ISO-compliant processes.

You will conduct market studies, provide timely product information to stakeholders, and validate listings to meet standards. You will also manage end-to-end sourcing arrangements across Malaysia, Singapore, and beyond, collaborating with multiple departments to resolve issues and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing or Business or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and supplier sourcing with strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent data analysis and English plus local language communication.
• 3 years in a marketing-related role with at least 1 year in marketing/sales/product management in Office Supplies/FMCG.
• Fully vaccinated and eligible to work in Johor, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Manager with supplier and product sourcing.
• Manage product section and negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Produce quality market studies and analyses for management.
• Provide accurate product information to cross-department stakeholders.
• Validate product listings to meet company standards.
• Handle end-to-end product sourcing arrangements within Malaysia, Singapore or internationally.
• Ensure sourcing meets ISO standards and group guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-department stakeholders to resolve issues and drive operations.
• Conduct annual supplier/product reviews with management.

Job description

• Assist Product Manager to carry out supplier and product sourcing, ensure quality sourcing is carried out and is following group guideline
• Well manage product section under your care by doing quality supplier & product sourcingto support long-term market growth . This includes carry out good price negotiations, and ability to to engage quality supplier and product
• Produce quality market study and market analysis for the management team
• Provide accurate product information in timely manner to cross department stakeholders
• Carry out quality product listing validation in meeting company expectation and standard
• Handle end-to-end product sourcing required arrangement (i.e government tax, custom duty, delivery timeleap etc) within Malaysia, Singapore or International and according to group guideline
• Ensure quality supplier and product sourcing is meeting company ISO standard and group guideline
• Work closely with cross department stakeholders in managing product & supplier related issue effectively in driving operation excellent
• Carryout supplier and product review yearly with the management team to ensure performance of the product and suppliers are meeting customers' expectation.
• All other adhoc reasonable assignment assigned to you from time to time

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing or Business or a combination of education and experience in a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), supplier sourcing and purchasing negotiation skills,good data analysis skills, SAP user
• Effective communicator and negotiator; well verse in verbal and written communication in English and native language
• 3 years working experience in marketing related role with minimum 1year in within marketing Sales/Product management experience in Office Supplies/FMCG/Consumer Products markets
• Those who has fully vaccinated and able to work in Johor Malaysia will be considered.
