Overview of the Role

The Market Deployment Manager supports the Head of Brand Deployment to achieve operational excellence through deploying the Consumer Experience strategy globally. This involves managing the development team, coordinating activation efforts across sales channels, and ensuring execution excellence to support GTR’s strategic growth towards a Smokeless World.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive operational perfection and oversee activation efforts globally, providing guidance and resolving issues.
  2. Manage the deployment and maintenance of POSM and furniture in line with strategy.
  3. Coordinate with external and internal suppliers to ensure operational and delivery excellence.
  4. Lead the deployment of consumer activations across all channels, ensuring standards are met.
  5. Develop and maintain deployment frameworks to enhance speed to market and efficiency.
  6. Optimize consumer journey touchpoints for a seamless experience.
  7. Manage global and local agencies, evaluate performance, and oversee contracts and budgets.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and meet activation goals.
  9. Manage budgets to maximize ROI and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
  10. Evaluate activation efficiency through data collection and reporting for continuous improvement.
  11. Ensure global brand strategies are activated consistently across markets.
Leadership & Relationships
  • Lead, coach, and develop the team.
  • Engage effectively with partners including Brand, Finance, Trade, and senior leadership.
  • Lead local and remote teams, fostering communication and strategy alignment.
  • Build a strong succession pool.
Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
  • Marketing qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years in Trade Marketing or related fields.
  • Experience with agency management preferred.
  • Strong project management, communication, and financial skills.
  • Ability to multitask and influence stakeholders across geographies.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% globally.
