Job Purpose
The Marketing Data Analyst converts intricate data into straightforward, actionable insights that enhance marketing strategies and boost customer engagement. This position is essential for evaluating campaign performance and loyalty, overseeing automated engagement tactics, and supporting the Marketing team in making well-informed decisions. Additionally, the analyst serves as a crucial interpreter, translating data into understandable terms for stakeholders lacking a technical background.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret campaign, sales, and loyalty data to assess marketing effectiveness and influence strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver the Weekly Marketing Highlight Performance Report to Management, summarizing crucial trends, outcomes, and insights.
  • Convert technical data into marketing-friendly reports and narratives.
  • Maintain and update the Loyalty Segmentation Report, identifying trends in customer behavior to support targeted campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the loyalty team to design and manage Loyalty Engagement Automation strategies, such as churn prevention, reactivation journeys, and onboarding.
  • Create and oversee marketing dashboards for real-time visibility into performance metrics and customer journeys.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimental design to evaluate campaign success and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop data-driven strategies, ensuring insights align with marketing goals.
  • Clearly present findings to non-technical stakeholders using data visualization and storytelling techniques.
  • Support strategic planning, campaign targeting, and budget optimization through data modeling and performance forecasting.

Required Competencies & Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis, segmentation modeling, and experimental design.
  • Skilled in using data visualization toolslike Power BI and Tableau to develop engaging dashboards and reports.
  • Capable of translating technical data, including SQL and Python outputs, into accessible business insights.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and managing customer journeys.
  • Strong grasp of loyalty marketing principles and customer lifecycle strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration abilities, enabling effective teamwork across marketing, data, and loyalty departments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at simplifying complex information through storytelling.
  • Keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management in a dynamic environment.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing data analysis, customer insights, or a similar role.
  • Prior experience working in customer engagement, loyalty, or campaign management is a plus.
