Job summary

Swee Seng Electrical Engineering – Johor Bahru, Johor is seeking a Marketing/Content officer to plan and execute campaigns, create engaging social media content, and maintain the company’s online presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Xiaohongshu.

The role requires a Diploma in Marketing or related field with at least 1 year of experience; fresh graduates are welcome. Strong Canva, video editing, and AI tool skills are preferred, along with Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & Xiaohongshu.
• Basic skills in Canva, video editing and content creation.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and AI tools such as ChatGPT.
• Good communication skills in Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Organized, responsible and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Create social media content, including graphics, videos, captions and marketing materials.
• Manage and update Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu and company website.
• Assist with video shooting, editing and content publishing.
• Manage marketing leads, customer databases and sales follow-up status.
• Support digital advertising and monitor marketing performance.
• Conduct market, competitor and content trend research.
• Support company and personal branding activities.
• Assist with exhibitions, roadshows and other marketing events.
• Prepare marketing reports and maintain marketing materials.
