Job summary

SmartZone Smart Home is seeking a proactive Marketing & Content Executive to support digital marketing initiatives in Malaysia. The role focuses on managing social media, updating content, producing short-form video content, and supporting campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and capable of turning marketing ideas into engaging content. Diploma or degree in Marketing/Communications/Media is preferred, with experience on major platforms and CapCut for video edits.

• Video editing skills using CapCut or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Manage and maintain the company’s social media platforms.
• Content Ideation & Execution: Generate creative content ideas and captions aligned with marketing direction.
• Video Production & Editing: Generate ideas and capture video content; edit short-form videos using CapCut or similar tools.
• Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team in executing campaigns and coordinating materials/events.

We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Content Executive to support the company's digital marketing initiatives.

This role focuses primarily on managing the company's social media platforms, executing content updates, producing short-form video content, and supporting marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, organized, and capable of turning marketing ideas into engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

Manage and maintain the company's social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, XHS, Website, TikTok and other relevant channels)

Plan and execute regular content updates to ensure a consistent online presence

Content Ideation & Execution

Assist in generating creative content ideas for social media updates and marketing campaigns

Develop engaging captions and simple content aligned with marketing direction

Video Production & Editing (Important)

Generate ideas & Capture video content for social media update

Edit short-form videos (e.g. reels, promotional clips) using tools such as CapCut or similar software

Marketing Support

Assist the marketing team in executing marketing ideas and campaigns

Support the preparation and coordination of marketing-related materials / events when required

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields

Familiar with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, XHS, TikTok, etc.)

Video editing skills using CapCut or similar tools

Content writing skills for social media captions

Creative, proactive and able to execute ideas efficiently

Willing to work at Eco Majestic, Semenyih - Premium SmartZone Experience Centre.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

Familiar with Canva or Adobe Illustrator

Familiar with AI tools for content creation
