Job description

Marketing Communications, Senior Executive

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that promote the brand, products, or services by Watsons. This role involves managing internal and external communications, overseeing content creation, and ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Create and implement integrated marketing communication strategies.
  2. Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels such as in-store touchpoints, digital platforms, social media, and KOL management.
  3. Collaborate with creative teams, media agencies, and vendors through campaign planning and execution to meet campaign objectives.
  4. Monitor campaign performance to ensure all objectives are met; track and report on communication effectiveness.
  5. Stay updated on the latest market and media trends and identify opportunities to incorporate them into Watsons' business strategies.
  6. Ensure timely monthly reporting of all post-campaign performance metrics.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Media/PR, or related fields.
  • At least 4–5 years of experience in media planning or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of strategic media planning, campaign planning, and marketing communications.
  • Retail knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage campaigns effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong time management and results-driven mindset for timely and impactful execution.
