Marketing / Business Development (Seremban)

Reporting to the Branch Manager or any assigned line manager, the successful candidate will be mainly responsible for meeting growth and profitability targets of the Seremban branch. The candidate will also contribute to growing the core business lines in line with Generali’s vision and strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Engagement
- Roll out campaigns to Agents/Franchise/Banks
- Participate in recruitment of Agents/Franchise/Banks
- Engage in one-on-one/small group sessions with Agents/Franchise/Banks
- Train agents in products, systems, and branch processes
- Segment agent base for training to provide to Branch Manager
- Conduct relationship management external visits to Agents/Franchise/Banks
Account Engagement Planning & Monitoring
- Participate in campaign tracking, monitoring, and post-mortem reviews at branch and/or company level
- Segment agent base for training to provide to Team Leader
- Review activity, portfolios, and performance of agents
- Conduct agent performance analysis
- Assist Branch Manager in business development and growth
- Create sales planning/activity reports for production and sales targets for the Branch Manager
Business Development
- Increase Generali's footprint in designated areas – Bahau, Kuala Pilah, as assigned by Branch or Regional Manager
- Drive existing agents to promote Generali, Agent get Agent initiatives
- Explore new business opportunities beyond usual activities
Sales Business Support
- Follow-up on renewals after distribution by New Business Support / Monitor renewal retention
- Provide servicing and problem-solving support to Agents/Franchise/Banks for new business and renewal issues
- Conduct site/risk surveys
- Follow up on outstanding documents for risks and renewals
Credit Controls
- Follow-up on Cash Before Cover & premium warranty for agents under your care
- Proactively ensure agents' payments are on time, including monthly meetings, proposing installment plans to management
- Reduce agents' outstanding Motor & NM premiums > 90 days as per company targets
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
- Diploma in insurance or related fields
- AMII/CMII/ACII/DMII or equivalent insurance qualifications
Total Years of Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in the insurance industry or similar industries (e.g., Loss Adjusting, Bancassurance)
- Or 5 years of relevant experience
