Job description

Orchid Development is seeking a Caymanian or Legal Resident to join our diverse and expanding team as a Marketing Assistant. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to support the marketing and branding efforts across our portfolio, including The Brasserie, associated F&B outlets, and The Club. We’re looking for a motivated individual eager to learn and contribute to daily marketing activities such as content creation, campaign execution, administrative coordination, and general creative production. Responsibilities included, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in scheduling, drafting, and publishing content across social media, website, email, and other digital platforms
  • Support the marketing team in executing promotional campaigns, events, and launches
  • Action updates to menus, signage, and promotional materials, using established templates in Canva and Adobe Illustrator
  • Assist with the maintenance of the content calendar, asset library, and marketing databases
  • Capture and edit basic photo/video content for social media and promotional use
  • Conduct research and collect information to support content creation and campaign planning
  • Handle general marketing admin tasks (e.g. image resizing, organizing assets, creating labels/tags, printing, filing)
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather materials, confirm campaign details, and help ensure deadlines are met
  • Track social media interactions and emerging trends, identifying potential opportunities or issues
  • Perform on-site support for marketing events, including setup and documentation (photography/video)
  • Any other duties as assigned to support the marketing and communications goals of the business

Education/Experience

  • Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a marketing or administrative support role

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Good writing and editing ability; capable of following brand tone and voice guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
  • Comfortable with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of marketing fundamentals and willingness to learn on the job
  • Able to contribute positively as a team, helping with various tasks as requested
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Interest in food, beverage, and health and wellness is a plus
  • Valid Cayman Islands driver’s license
