The Marketing and Communications Manager is a cross-functional role, but line manages the Marketing team.
The Marketing and Communications Manager directs, implements, monitors, and evaluates marketing communications and strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touchpoints. Explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimise marketing communications.
Whilst the initial focus will be on Charterhouse Malaysia, there is great potential for a strong candidate to become involved at a regional level with Charterhouse Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual Marketing & Communications planning process within the school to ensure optimum brand awareness and lead generation activities within the local competitive environment.
- Work closely with the Admissions team to plan, implement, and evaluate the admissions process and all related marketing and communication activities.
- Support the annual target and fee-setting process within the school.
- Drive quality lead generation activity for the school across digital and offline marketing channels to meet agreed targets.
- Proactively manage the content, media, event, and marketing and communication plans for the school, including analysis of efficiency & effectiveness and budget management.
- Produce digital and print publications within schools following regional brand & editorial guidelines, organising photography/videography shoots and design/editorial content where required.
- Oversee content of the school website, ensuring current and engaging information for prospective and current families to enhance user experience.
- Act as the school representative with the media for both proactive and reactive media communications.
Requirements:
- Educated to Degree/Master level.
- Qualification in Marketing, Business related discipline, or Hospitality studies.
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
- Prior experience in the Education industry required.
- Prior experience in International Education within the Asia region is desired.
- Excellent standards of personal presentation.
