Marketing and Communication Manager / Assistant Manager

The scope of this role is to drive the company’s branding, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement efforts within the climate tech and sustainability space. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role will focus on building brand visibility, driving impactful content, and managing public-facing initiatives to support business growth and climate innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications

  1. Develop and execute communication strategies across internal and external platforms to raise awareness of the company’s sustainability mission, solutions, and impact.
  2. Produce and manage high-quality content including press releases, website articles, emailers, speeches, investor decks, and corporate collaterals.
  3. Act as a brand custodian, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all touchpoints.

Media, Stakeholder & Investor Relations

  1. Cultivate and manage relationships with media, government stakeholders, strategic partners, and the investment community.
  2. Coordinate media outreach and proactively manage press coverage around company milestones, product launches, and environmental impact.

Events & Thought Leadership

  1. Plan and lead sustainability-focused events, conferences, webinars, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
  2. Position the company and its leaders as thought leaders in climate innovation through public speaking opportunities and industry engagement.

Content & Digital Engagement

  1. Oversee content strategy for the company’s website, social media, and internal communications.
  2. Develop impactful storytelling and visual assets to communicate the company’s sustainability goals, case studies, and success stories.
  3. Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and co-hosted industry events to amplify reach.
  4. Support regional and community-level outreach efforts aligned with ESG and carbon reduction goals.

Corporate Identity & Brand Management

  1. Maintain visual and messaging consistency across marketing materials and branded content.
  2. Support development of advertising, investor communication, and outreach collaterals in multiple languages.

Cross-functional Support

  1. Collaborate across departments to align communications strategies with product, regulatory, ESG, and operational teams.
  2. Provide support for special projects and other communication-related initiatives as required.

Requirements

  1. Diploma / Degree in Mass Communication / Business Administration / Marketing or any related discipline is a plus.
  2. Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate communications, branding, or marketing; experience in sustainability, ESG, or climate tech is highly preferred.
  3. Exceptional communication, writing, and storytelling skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu.
  4. Strong media relations skills and familiarity with regional media landscapes.
  5. Proficient in managing digital communications and content platforms (e.g., CMS, social media tools).
  6. Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint; experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or video editing tools is a plus.
  7. Excellent organisational skills and a track record of executing high-impact events.
  8. Creative thinker, team player, and self-starter with a passion for environmental impact and innovation.
