Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Marketing Advertising Specialist located in Penang, Malaysia, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Marketing Advertising Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing advertising campaigns, and optimizing digital ad campaigns for better performance. Day-to-day tasks include creating marketing content, conducting market research, keyword research and trends, conversion optimization, liaising with clients, analysing and generating detailed report on the marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing or advertising role.
  • Ad Campaign Management: Proven experience in planning, executing, and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze campaign performance data, interpret metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS), and generate insightful reports using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Research Abilities: Proficient in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and keyword research to inform marketing strategies.
  • Communication: Good command of written and spoken English, with strong copywriting skills to create compelling ad copy and marketing content.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, understand their needs, and present campaign results clearly.
  • Education: A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Bonus Points (Highly Desirable):

  • Industry Experience: Direct experience in or a strong understanding of the medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage.
  • SEO Knowledge: A solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and how they complement paid advertising efforts.
  • Additional Platforms: Familiarity with other advertising platforms like TikTok Ads or LinkedIn Ads.
