Main Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with Audit Parties to schedule and monitor internal WMP audits and external vendor audits.
  2. Follow up on internal audit findings for close-outs, maintaining a database for trending and analysis.
  3. Support crewing-related HSEQ tasks, including investigations into cases involving seafarer grievances and monitoring the validity of certificates received from Manning Offices.
  4. Assist with department’s digital initiatives, including implementation and monitoring.
  5. Coordinate with Seamen's National Unions on industrial relations matters and provide relevant union-related information to functional relations offices.
  6. Support and follow up on timely payments of union dues and statutory remittances, including CBA allowances, renewals, and compliance with special agreements.
  7. Assist in conducting and analyzing seafarer surveys.
  8. Monitor data quality in CMS, extract data for analysis related to compliance with MLC and ISO 9001:2015 standards, identify areas for improvement, and enhance crew management tools.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Labor/Industrial Relations, HR Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws, preferably maritime laws.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, resolve conflicts, and influence others.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
