Responsibilities include: developing robust, capable, cost-effective, and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, materials, and products. Supporting the efficient and effective transfer of new products and processes into commercial production.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead design, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of product/process technologies.
  2. Develop and lead experimentation and testing to enable characterization, optimization, and troubleshooting of processes and equipment; summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions leading to effective technical resolutions and communication within the technical community.
  3. Coordinate and direct the introduction of new processes, equipment, and materials, including installation, calibration, EHS assessment, debugging, and documentation of process and quality system requirements, including work instructions.
  4. Lead/support continuous improvement activities through effective application of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to characterize, optimize, troubleshoot, and develop efficient, cost-effective equipment and processes.
  5. Support execution and documentation of validation builds, coordinate testing of validation units, and compile, analyze, and report validation results.
  6. Travel to other sites or vendors as part of technology development and transfer activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have at least a diploma in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, including practical skills in equipment troubleshooting. Experience in leading junior technicians and continuous improvement projects.
  • Required skills:
    • Technical skills capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment.
    • Basic skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Knowledge of PLC/software debugging is an advantage.
