You will monitor processes, setup machines, troubleshoot, and ensure equipment reliability, while upholding safety and quality. The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience; Excel and reporting skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Equipment troubleshooting skills are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Process Monitoring/ Setup/Buyoff/Low Yield Lot disposition, including calibration and machine setup.
• Perform minor machine repair and verify module functionality.
• SPC process control and monitoring.
• Optimize equipment reliability and performance to original levels.
• Soft skill development – Excel/PowerPoint, presentations, reporting.
• Troubleshoot machines and prevent process issues related to 5M1E.
• Comply with environment, security, health and safety requirements.

Position Summary:

In the role of a Manufacturing Technician, it is essential for individuals to ensure that equipment and process remains in optimal health and functionality. This can be achieved by consistently applying the principles of Process Monitoring in their work practices.

What You Will Do:

• Perform routine Process Monitoring/ Setup/Buyoff/Low Yield Lot disposition e.g. calibration, set-up, initialization, machine conversion in specific areas.
• Perform minor machine repair and verify functionality of modules.
• SPC process control and monitoring.
• Optimizes equipment reliability and performance to original levels.
• Soft skill development – Microsoft Excel / Powerpoint, Presentation skill, FBPS, Technical report writing etc.
• Perform machine trouble shooting and prevention while process issue related to 5M1E.
• Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
