Job Details:
- Manage the achievement of operation’s key priorities in Safety, Quality, Productivity, People Engagement, and Cost for the assigned production line (workstation).
- Perform all production-related tasks, including quality control, equipment maintenance, and redzone activities.
- Carry out machine greasing, lubrication, and non-electrical maintenance repairs.
- Conduct safety checks on machine covers and sensors.
- Support the Preventive Maintenance (PM) team during breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.
- Assist in closing HHP findings for their area/station.
- Investigate foreign material issues when necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections on equipment as per schedule to identify and address potential issues.
- Lead and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
- Analyze blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand equipment specifications.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures efficiently and timely.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify root causes of equipment problems.
- Perform repairs and replace faulty components.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in safety training.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety and quality protocols during maintenance.
- Participate in technical training programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues, including major repairs and overhauls.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams for process improvements.
- Provide regular reports on equipment status and maintenance activities to the Line Manager/Lead.
- Communicate maintenance status and potential impacts on production schedules.
- Analyze equipment downtime and implement strategies to reduce unplanned interruptions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to mechanical parts and maintenance processes.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum SKM3 / Diploma / Professional Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in managing manufacturing equipment and processes is advantageous.
- At least TWO years of experience in a technical role within medium or large-scale manufacturing companies.
- Strong technical understanding of basic manufacturing equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skills.
