The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and
troubleshooting equipment and machinery in a manufacturing facility. This role ensures
production runs efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards. The technician supports
both routine and preventive maintenance and collaborates with other departments to
minimize downtime.

Job Description
• Operate production equipment and machinery according to standard operating
procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor production processes and perform quality checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues during production.
• Conduct routine maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance activities.
• Document production data, equipment performance, and maintenance activities.
• Support process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean and organized work
environment.
• Assist engineers or senior technicians in equipment upgrades or installations.
• Ensure all tools and machines are calibrated and functioning correctly.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or
Industrial Technology.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with automated production systems and PLCs (optional, based on
industry).
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
