Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Able to manage a crew of operators during the shift.
  2. Plan and strategize daily WIP movement with the manufacturing team to meet Testout, OEE, and shipment targets.
  3. Execute operational plans with the Planner to expedite urgent OTD or critical lots.
  4. Follow up and execute in-shift activities for Final Test KPIs such as delivery outs, OTD, and OEE.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams including planner, process, maintenance, and test product personnel to coordinate efforts and achieve manufacturing objectives.
  6. Collaborate with IE/MFG/Maintenance/Engineering to achieve the ramp plan for new devices via tool qualification and process readiness.
  7. Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and workflow to enhance productivity (delivery and manning), quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  8. Participate in 5S and operators engagement activities.
  9. Handle small projects or phases of larger projects.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (manufacturing, electrical, industrial, IT/computer science).
  2. Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and planning skills.
  5. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  6. Knowledge in reporting and automation is advantageous.
