Responsibilities

• Detect deviations in the production process and inform the supervisor.
• Ensure cleanliness and order in the workplace.
• Document manufacturing and process data.
• Report deviations or issues in the process or product to supervisors.
• Dispose of scrap material in the designated scrap box.

Job description

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Successfully completed Malaysia Skills Certificate (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) or similar training as a machine operator, or possess several years of professional experience on production machines.
• Minimum education, SPM with at least 5 years' experience in production, preferably in electronic manufacturing.
• Proficient in written and spoken English, with basic knowledge of PC and MS Office.
• Technical understanding with high skills and good eyesight.
• Quick comprehension and good communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Tasks:

• Detect deviations in the production process and inform the supervisor.
• Ensure cleanliness and order in the workplace.
• Document manufacturing and process data.
• Report deviations or issues in the process or product to supervisors.
• Notify when error limits are exceeded.
• Dispose of scrap material in the designated scrap box.
• Carry out manufacturing processes according to work instructions.
• Operate devices and machines following production and operating instructions.
• Participate actively in team dialogue.

Maintenance:

• Inform the supervisor of machine or process malfunctions.
• Fill in traffic light cards/machine release forms during malfunctions and participate in equipment release procedures.
• Document maintenance activities and 5S checklists.
• Conduct maintenance, setup, and cleaning of equipment and machines as per specifications.

Improvement:

• Support workflow optimization to enhance output and maintain quality.
• Help reduce scrap material.
• Support TPM and 5S teams.
• Implement ideas from PDCA cards and idea management at the workplace.

Occupational Safety / Environmental Protection / Precious Metal Security:

• Follow instructions regarding legal and operational safety, accident prevention, and environmental protection.
• Observe requirements for precious metal security.
• Comply with quality, environmental management, Lean/5S standards.
