Co-ordinate with stakeholders in developing and implementing quality control plans and systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Conduct various tests throughout the development lifecycle to identify defects, ensure functionality, and verify that products meet quality requirements.
Analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve product quality and the development process.
Collect and analyze data to identify trends, track quality metrics, and prepare reports to document findings and inform decision‑making.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Ensure that products and processes adhere to relevant standards and regulations and may conduct audits to verify compliance.
Monitor post‑launch product performance, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement efforts. Inspect and test products at various stages of production to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, working with cross‑functional teams to resolve them.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and reports on quality audits and product inspections.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet quality requirements, including adherence to industry standards.
Conduct regular audits (physical or virtual) of suppliers to ensure they maintain the required quality standards and processes.
Monitor and oversee supplier quality control activities to ensure incoming materials and products meet specifications and standards.
Identify and address any quality issues that arise with supplier products, working with suppliers to find solutions.
Track and report on supplier performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
Involve in developing and implementing quality control systems, as well as facilitating product and process improvements within the supplier network.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal stakeholders (RnD, Purchasing, Engineering) and external suppliers to ensure quality objectives are met.
Design, develop and implement system to improve productivity, process robustness and optimizing the utilization of labor, machine and equipment from new product development phase until mass production.
Support on development and installation of new machineries/facilities introduced to the production.
Support and lead continual improvement and problem solving.
Handle new project development in line set‑up, jig/fixture/tester fabrication, study and analysis of line layout, line capacity, process flow chart and part packaging, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and lesson learned establishment and review, support in new project Request For Quote (RFQ) study.
Co‑ordinate the development of new product.
Provide technical support to stakeholders (Program, QA, Purchasing, etc).
Co‑ordinate, monitor and ensure new product development progress is on track per planned schedule.
Generate relevant new product and process documentation.
Co‑ordinate trial of new product and sample preparation, when required.
Handle new project development in product feasibility study, establish and review DFMEA, BOM, design concept, part list, pre‑process flow, cost study, review customer specification (special characteristics, test requirement, etc), review drawing and product lesson learned.
