Summary
Responsible for leading quality activities at the Tampoi site for welding and frame projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the resolution of internal and external product quality issues, striving for zero defects.
- Generate formal reports for disciplined root-cause analysis and corrective actions (e.g., using the 8D methodology).
- Resolve non-conforming materials through advanced quality tools and problem-solving techniques, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Execute experiments and implement process/raw material/specification changes via Change Control activities to resolve supply chain and customer issues, reducing process/material variation and cost.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding quality issues or requests.
- Inform the quality management team about customer feedback and product expectations.
- Prepare and maintain product quality documentation in accordance with ISO specifications.
- Develop product quality processes based on ISO standards.
- Manage and coordinate ISO audits.
- Interface with Product Management & Process Development Engineering during the Stage Gate process for transferring newly commercialized products to high-volume manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of engineering experience in Project Management, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering within the semiconductor industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background in statistics and quality tools preferred. Familiarity with SPC principles and their application to batch processes. Proficient in problem-solving techniques such as DOE, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MCA, etc.
- Knowledge of test methodology and equipment, with a thorough understanding of test variability effects.
- Experience in inspection of welding, powder coating, or painting in semiconductor/wafer fabrication is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor best practices and industrial quality standards.
- Ability to read product and component drawings and specifications, including hands-on experience measuring instruments for part inspection.
