Manufacturing Production Engineer (Mandarin)

Job Responsibilities

1. Production Planning
   • Operate daily operation plan
   • Observe routine in production
   • Perform corrective and preventive actions
   • Plan and implement improvements in operation
   • Compile production data and report to line manager
   • Ensure productivity is optimized in producing output
   • Monitor raw materials usage and get line manager approval to order
   • Ensure tools and related equipment are in good working order; replace faulty tools and report faulty equipment for repair or replacement
2. Manpower Management
   • Schedule manpower based on operational needs
   • Maximize manpower efficiency with minimum cost
   • Guide and train staff to produce quality products
   • Evaluate staff performance regularly
   • Enhance staff knowledge and skills through ongoing training
3. Quality Control
   • Coordinate with Quality Control department on concerns
   • Identify and resolve technical issues with Maintenance team
   • Plan, organize, and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs within budget to minimize production loss
4. Safety Management
   • Ensure a safe work environment
   • Implement and maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards
   • Collaborate with relevant departments to improve safety policies
5. Ad hoc Tasks

Job Requirements

1. Educational Background
   • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related certification in Electrical/Mechatronic fields
2. Language Proficiency
   • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is advantageous
   • Ability to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English
3. Work Experience
   • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
   • 2 years of experience in electrical, cable, or manufacturing sectors preferred
4. Technical Knowledge and Skills
   • Computer literacy and familiarity with software systems
   • Basic machine repair knowledge
   • Good communication and interpersonal skills
   • Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems is a plus
5. Personal Qualities
   • Passion, initiative, and motivation
   • Proactive and a self-starter
