Job summary

Consea Group is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager in Malaysia to supervise the production team and lead continuous improvements across engineering and production processes. You will direct projects, standardize procedures, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will mentor engineering staff, collaborate with the Production and Supply Chain teams, and participate in planning, budgeting, and site expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in leading a team of professional engineers.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering and production applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AutoCAD; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct projects to plan and deliver on-time and within budget.
• Develop and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of engineering services and projects.
• Industrialization and materials management.
• Develop process regulation for each phase of production.
• Identify gaps in processes and implement solutions.
• Monitor complex projects in accordance with requirements.
• Provide leadership to engineering staff to maintain quality and productivity.
• Participate in planning, production, quality, safety meetings and set up work control systems.
• Recruitment and selection of engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards and legal/ethical requirements.
• Effective communication with stakeholders in China.
