Job summary

Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes for electronics products in Penang. You will review designs for manufacturability, define process flows, and ensure work instructions reflect current engineering changes.

This role requires collaboration with R&D, NPI, QA, and production teams. The ideal candidate has a technical degree with 2–5 years in process or manufacturing engineering, familiarity with electronics,

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field.
2–5 years of Process or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
Experience in electronics, PCBA, semiconductor equipment, or related manufacturing is preferred.
Able to read engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and assembly drawings.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Review new product designs from a manufacturing and assembly perspective (DFM).
Develop and establish production and assembly processes for new and existing products.
Create and maintain clear Work Instructions (WI) for production and ensure they are up to date.
Support NPI, pilot builds, and new product transfer to production; provide engineering support for daily production issues.
Identify tooling/fixture requirements and improve tools to reduce errors and improve productivity.
Drive process and productivity improvements, time studies, and error-proofing initiatives.
