Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Engineer to plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations at our Bayan Lepas plant in Penang. You will develop, maintain, and revise production schedules according to requirements and customer demand, while monitoring performance and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proven skills and experience in Production Engineering and Production Planning will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and improve production processes.
• Good knowledge and experience in Quality Control methods and practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the Production team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Manufacturing industry experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Develop, maintain, and revise production schedules according to production requirements and customer demand.
• Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall process flow.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste, downtime, defects, and production costs.
• Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with the Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other relevant teams to resolve production and process-related issues.
• Monitor production materials, manpower, equipment utilization, and capacity to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Prepare and maintain relevant production reports, process documentation, work instructions, and records.
• Ensure production processes comply with company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable quality standards.
