Job summary

Jora Malaysia leads the Process Engineering department, driving efficiency, integrity, and enthusiasm across manufacturing operations in Penang. The role focuses on optimizing machine performance, guiding technicians, and enabling continuous improvement on all lines.

The position involves training Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, coordinating with Line Supervisors and Engineers, and implementing corrective actions to sustain operational excellence and accurate data management.

Responsibilities

• Strives to achieve excellence in all endeavors.
• Be a proactive contributor on the management team.
• Directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians on their lines to optimize machine and process efficiency.
• Provides training to technicians in equipment maintenance, machine programming, and PD file creation.
• Interfaces with Line Supervisors, Machine Support Manager, and Manufacturing Engineers to determine corrective actions.
• Manages coverage of MET duties and performs duties during critical needs.
• Assists Engineers in determining optimal process performance, tool design, and DFM suggestions.
• Ensures data integrity with program and PD backups on all lines.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
