Teradyne's Product Test Group (PTG) seeks a senior mechanical engineer to provide hands-on support for production test fixtures across LitePoint, MLTP, and Quantifi product lines. This role emphasizes manufacturing support, fixture design, and process improvements in NPI, ramp, and mass production environments.

The incumbent collaborates with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Contract Manufacturers to resolve design and process issues, ensuring safe, repeatable, high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required; master's a plus.
• 8–10 years in mechanical, manufacturing, fixture, tools, or sustaining eng. in production.
• Hands-on experience with fixtures, tooling, and test systems through NPI and volume manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on mechanical engineering support for assembly, alignment, calibration, and fixtures used in LitePoint and MLTP manufacturing.
• Support field installations, system integration, commissioning, acceptance, and service at customer sites.
• Own localization of mechanicals and packaging in collaboration with Supply Chain.
• Interpret drawings, BOMs, and fixture design intent to diagnose fit, alignment, wear, and usability issues.
