Job Summary

• Lead and manage the operations team, supervising the operation of production processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Equipment, Supply Chain, and Contract Manufacturers to develop manufacturing and product line strategies, leading actions to meet KPIs.
• Establish production and shipment targets for respective areas.
• Drive cross-functional teams to meet targets and improve production performance aligned with quality, cost, delivery, and time-to-market goals.
• Oversee the selection, training, and development of a strong production team, including supervisors, shopfloor technical specialists, and manufacturing specialists.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork and cooperation among employees. Provide guidance and training to cross-functional teams, including Contract Manufacturers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and unobstructed work environment, practicing good safety habits and utilizing appropriate safety equipment.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.
• Apply quality improvement processes effectively.
• Support manufacturing build and NPI schedule by ensuring new products are qualified.
• Set up new product lines based on POR process, aligned with forecasted capacity.
• Pass customer audits prior to mass production release.
• Achieve volume ramp plans and manage daily production output.
• Meet quality and yield targets set with customers and subcontractors.
• Establish metrics, guidelines, and standards to drive efficiency and continuous improvement, including LEAN deployment.
• Implement value stream mapping, standardize, and align manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate efforts among operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, reliability, contract manufacturing, and customer service to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
• Monitor manufacturing operations, including supply and BOM material usage.
• Manage shopfloor employee relations, including hiring, discipline, rewards, and resource allocation.
• Develop and nurture talent through coaching and mentoring, supporting succession planning.
• Drive quality, cost, and delivery objectives, defining KPIs for performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with QA to monitor quality and resolve customer issues and returns.
• Lead operations to meet organizational needs with minimal operational costs.

Qualifications
